Frequently Asked Questions:

What exactly do I get?

A boxing, bat-swinging, ace-serving Mii that resembles the photo you submit as best we can! We send it straight to your Wii, so you can use your Mii in every game and even share it with friends.

Those Miis you make are so cute, but I don't have a Nintendo Wii! Can I still have my own Mii emailed to me?

Of course! Just leave a note in the 'comment / request' box in the order form that you want your Mii emailed to you, and we will send a jpeg photo you can use in any digital context! Customers have used their Miis in blogs, as chat avatars, even in presentations!

Can I have a Wii Mii and a jpeg Mii?

Unfortunately due to the photoshop labor required, for the $10 price we can only offer either a Wii Mii or a jpeg Mii. If you would like both, please make two purchases.

Whoa, $10.00?! What happened to the original $5.00 price tag?!

Believe it or not, the response to MiiStation has been unexpectedly positive. Like many other web-ventures, MiiStation started off as an impulse project - which means the maintainers have other full-time jobs. After the first one-hundred orders and a month of no social life, we decided a $10.00 price was necessary to compel us to provide the same quality service and craftsmanship. We still love the Mii concept and want to give any frustrated Wii owners a chance to be happy for their Miis. And if you must know, our artists are (still!) not sweatshop slaves but native Japanese - right in Nintendo's homeland!

What's this about a Wii ID?

Wii IDs are like email addresses - they let Wiis talk to each other. Registering the Wii ID we give you allows us to send you your Mii. We will never send you anything else, and you can remove our Wii ID after receiving your Mii. To see instructions on registering a Wii ID, visit the instructions page.

Can I share my Mii with others?

Of course! In fact, we encourage you to. Sharing Miis ala exchanging Wii IDs (see above) can be a fun way to make friends online and enjoy games as different characters. You're welcome to keep our Wii ID in your address book to see when Wii play ... ^^;.

My Mii doesn't look like me!

The Mii avatar concept is a product of Nintendo.  Inside Nintendo's Wii game console is an application that lets users create Miis.  Are you familiar with the "Mr. Potato Head" toy?  Miis are created in a very similar fashion - facial features such as eye-brow shapes, hair styles, eye colors, are fixed within a limited set.  Our artists are restricted to choosing the closest looking facial feature from the selection Nintendo provides.  Sometimes the closest looking feature isn't close enough by even our standards, but it's the best we can do. For this reason, we unfortunately can't offer edits after we've sent your Mii.
To read a more detailed explanation about Nintendo's Mii application, please read Nintendo's Mii page.

Should I be concerned about my email/photo/credit card?

Nope. All information we receive will be held in the strictest confidence. We will only use your contact information to match it with an order. Any photos you submit will only be seen by our artists, and only if you say it's okay will we put it in our gallery. The payment process is handled by Google Checkout, so we don't even see your credit card information. For further details about our policies, please read our Terms of Service.

How do I check or change my order?

If it's been 3 days and you haven't heard from us yet, you can request a status update or change your order by reaching customer service through the online contact form. We will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.
